LEARNING
Bar/Bat Mitzvah

At Kehilath Israel Synagogue, we offer individualized lessons with senior Rabbi Grussgott to prepare your child for their special day. Weekly lessons generally begin a year before the Bar/Bat Mitzvah, and each child is encouraged to demonstrate the best that he/she can be.

Parents should contact Rabbi Grussgott to secure a Bar/Bat Mitzvah date, and also contact the Executive Director to discuss the logistics for the event.

Shul Jr.

Come join us the third Shabbat of the month for Shul Jr. Kid-led services with prayer, songs, Torah learning, vigorous debates, and prizes! Geared to kids ages pre-k through bar/bat mitzvah. Parents are free to stay or attend the main service. Held 10-11 a.m. in the chapel. See you there!
